Running an IT rollout across Swiss sites

One programme, many doors. The country is small; the badge cultures are not.

A Zurich HQ plus Lausanne and Lugano branches is a normal Swiss map. Treating every canton as a one-off visit is how kits go missing and windows slip. Simaks runs this as a single programme — detail on the rollouts service.

Checklist before week one

  • Site list with postcode, floor language, and access lead time
  • Kit staged per wave, not “we will ship when we can”
  • Cutover windows in CET/CEST, including nights if the floor needs it
  • One exception log, not six WhatsApp threads
  • A named owner on your side for access that fails at the door

Language is a wave constraint

Deutschschweiz and Romandie should not share a single English-only crew if reception will not let them in. Flag the floor language per site. See coverage and the German / French hubs.

What “done” means

Image deployed, old kit packed, photos filed, exceptions listed. If you only measure “engineer arrived”, the rollout is not closed.
